A lengthy discussion on the Internet involved what Pooh wears, and what color his shirt/vest is supposed to be.  One person's response was:

"In the Now We Are Six volume of the World of Christopher Robin, the color illustrations of Pooh show him wearing a pink shirt."

Pooh's response:

"It was a white shirt when I first got it, but then Christopher Robin's mother decided to wash my shirt at the same time she needed to wash Piglet's red shirt. I don't know what happened to my white shirt, but when she was done, I had a brand new pink shirt, and have enjoyed wearing it ever since." Pooh was quite proud of his pink shirt, and even had one or two in a dark pink, or closer to red, which he wore when he was in more of a red-shirt-mood.

"I like your pink shirt," Piglet said. "It's my favorite color, because I'm pink. That way, when I'm all dirty from being outside all day, I don't have to take a bath, because I look like my shirt matches my arms. If I was wearing a white shirt or a blue shirt, you could tell how dirty I had gotten, and then I would have to take off the shirt and wash." While Piglet was generally a very neat person around the house, sweeping things here and there and putting things in their proper places, he wasn't overly fond of baths, so he avoided them as often as he could.
